Who we are

seoauditfix.com is operated by Data Vision IT Consulting Limited (CRO: 748035), a company registered in Ireland. Our registered address is Kilbride, Wicklow, Ireland. We provide automated SEO audit tools. For data protection queries, contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect and why

Website URL
You submit a URL to be audited. We store this URL and the audit results in our database so you can return to view your report. Lawful basis: Contract (providing the service you requested).
Payment data
If you purchase a PDF report, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store only the Stripe session ID to confirm your purchase. Lawful basis: Contract.
Email address
Only collected if you voluntarily provide it (e.g. to receive your report by email). Not required to use the service. Lawful basis: Consent.
Server logs
Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes. Lawful basis: Legitimate interests.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary and first-party functional cookies. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. Full detail — including the two referral cookies below — is on our dedicated Cookie Policy page.

Session cookie
Set by Flask to maintain your session while you use the site. Deleted when you close your browser. Essential for the service to function.
seo_ref / seo_ref_email
Set only if you arrive via a consultant's referral link, so your audit is credited to them for up to 30 days. First-party, HttpOnly, never used for advertising. See "Referral program" below and the Cookie Policy.
Cloudflare cookies
Cloudflare sets a __cf_bm cookie to distinguish humans from bots, and may set _cfuvid for rate limiting. These are strictly necessary security cookies. See Cloudflare's cookie policy.
Stripe cookies
When you proceed to checkout, Stripe sets cookies to prevent fraud and process your payment securely. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Because every cookie we set is either strictly necessary or a first-party functional cookie — never advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking — we are not required to show a cookie consent banner under GDPR/ePrivacy. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and obtain your consent first.

Referral program

If you reach this site via an SEO consultant's referral link (see /for-seos), your audit is tagged with their handle so it's credited to them, and — if you purchase the €9.99 PDF report — that consultant may receive a separate copy of the same PDF by email. Your email address is never shared with them: the copy is a distinct transactional email, not a CC on anything sent to you. The consultant's own contact email (if they supplied one) appears only in the PDF's credit line, never on the public results page or the aggregate referral dashboard. A consultant can stop receiving copies at any time by removing the &re= parameter from the link they share. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the one related commercial relationship (a Proton Mail affiliate link, offered to consultants as an email-alias suggestion).

Third-party processors

Cloudflare
All traffic passes through Cloudflare's network for security and performance. Cloudflare is a US company operating under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Privacy policy →
Stripe
Payment processing. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. Data processed under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Privacy policy →
Hetzner (server hosting)
Our server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, based in Germany (EU). Your data does not leave the EU. Privacy policy →

How long we keep your data

Audit results are retained for 90 days from the date of the audit, after which they are automatically deleted. If you purchased a PDF report, a record of the transaction is retained for 7 years as required by Irish tax law. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

Your rights under GDPR

As a person in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ireland.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last changed. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
